Composite hoses and fittings for composite hoses

Composite hoses make a new generation of light and very flexible, multi-layer hoses. Depending on types of layer material in its construction (polypropylene, polyamide, ECTFE, polyester, fibre glass or aramid) between internal and external wires a hose can be used to transfer a wide range of chemicals (aggressive as well), petrochemical products, liquefied gases, concentrated alcohol, etc. Composite hoses are mainly used in industrial, road and rail tankers and marine applications. Available as complete hose assemblies with a wide variety of end fittings (male thread, female thread) flanges, reloading couplings and Camlock couplings with Transportation Technical Supervision approval.

HOSES FOR PETROCHEMICAL PRODUCTS

HOSES FOR PETROCHEMICAL PRODUCTS

Suction-delivery hoses designed to transfer, loading/unloading of gasoline, diesel and other petrochemical products.
DANOIL TRANSPORT - Suction-delivery hose designed for tank truck loading/unloading. Internal layer made of polypropylene. DN from 50 to 75 mm, working pressure 10 bar.
DANOIL 3 - Suction-delivery hose designed for transfer and tank truck loading/unloading. Internal layer made of polypropylene. DN from 25 to 100 mm, working pressure 10,5 bar. Available version with aluminium internal wire that reduce the hose weight by approximately 30%.
DANOIL 7 i DANOIL 9 - Suction-delivery hose designed for transfer and tank truck loading/unloading in heavy duty conditions. Internal layer made of polypropylene (DANOIL7) or nylon (DANOIL9). DANOIL 9 used for unleaded gasoline, MTBE, biodiesel and petrochemical substances with very high aromatic content. DN from 25 to 100 mm, working pressure 14 bar. Available version with aluminium internal wire that reduces the hose weight by approximately 30%.
DANOIL VR (VAPOUR RECOVERY) - Suction-delivery hose designed to vapour fumes during reloading of petrochemical products. Used in vapour recovery lines during bottom/top loading/unloading applications. Working pressure 7 bar.

HOSES FOR CHEMICAL PRODUCTS

HOSES FOR CHEMICAL PRODUCTS

Suction-delivery hoses designed to transfer, loading/unloading of chemicals (acids, bases, solvents, petrochemical products).
DANCHEM – suction-delivery chemical hose used in industrial, loading/unloading of tanks trucks and rail tank trucks and ship to shore reloading. Internal layer made of polypropylene. DN from 25 to 250 mm , working pressure to 14 bar.
DANFLON – suction-delivery hose designed to transfer, loading/unloading of aggressive chemicals, solvents, liquid sulphur, bitumen. Internal layer made of ECTFE. DN from 25 to 250 mm, working pressure 14 bar.
DANCHEM VR (VAPOUR RECOVERY) - Suction-delivery hose designed to vapour fumes during reloading of chemical products. Used in vapour recovery lines during bottom/top loading/unloading applications. Working pressure 7 bar.

SPECIAL HOSES

SPECIAL HOSES

DANCHEM CRYOGENIC – Suction-delivery hose designed for transfer, unloading and reloading of cryogenic substances (till -200°C ) e.g. LPG, LNG, ammonia, ethylene, liquid carbon dioxide. DN from 25 to 250 mm , working pressure to 25 bar.
SUPERFLEX – Suction-delivery hose designed for transfer, unloading and reloading of very aggressive chemicals, solvents, liquid sulphur, bitumen in heavy duty conditions. Internal layer made of ECTFE, closer wire pitch of AISI 316 stainless steel high tensile wires (inner and outer) increases the impact resistance of the hose and reduces the risk of over-bending. Multiple high tensile strength layers considerably reduce elongation and plastic deformation at elevated temperature, and increase mechanical strength of the hose. Ship to shore and industrial reloading applications. Recommended for heavy duty tasks: concentrated sulphuric acid, hot conveyed products (palm oil), long unsupported lengths such as required by hose towers, hoses which must be cleaned with low pressure steam. DN from 100 to 250 mm. Working pressure 16 bar.
FIRESAFE - Flame retardant version of a composite hose allowing dozens minutes of continuous medium flow even in case of fire (temperature 900 - 1200°C).

FITTINGS FOR COMPOSITE HOSES

FITTINGS FOR COMPOSITE HOSES

For composite hoses special types of fittings and ferrules are used. Ferrule seals used during fittings assembly ensure tightness and electrical conductivity. Most typical fittings are:

  • flanges e.g. DIN (EN) PN16, fixed or swivel;
  • fittings with male and female BSP thread;
  • CAMLOCK couplings (C or E);

Fittings available in carbon steel, stainless steel AISI 304, AISI 316, aluminium, brass, polyethylene. For highly aggressive chemicals ECTFE coated stainless steel fittings/couplings are used. Complete hose assemblies available with TW, Camlock, railway, dry breakaway and dry disconnect couplings.
