RUBBER COMPENSATORS

RUBBER COMPENSATORS

Used in all kinds of industrial applications, in power plants as well as heating (heat distribution centres) and sanitary applications (sewage-treatment plants, sewage pump stations, water treatment plants). For application in connection with pumps, engines, turbines, compressors, fans etc. Designed to absorb any kind of movements: axial, lateral and angular or their combinations.
A compensator consists of a bellow made of different kinds of elastomers reinforced with synthetic cord and parts that connect it with a pipeline (most often steel flange). They compensate for thermal elongation and misalignment of a pipeline. They isolate vibrations, dampen noise and pressure surges coming from hydraulic impact.
The bellows of compensators are made of such elastomers as: EPDM, Nitrile, Chloropropene, SBR, Hypalon, Viton.
Working temperature: from -40°C up to 150°C.
working pressure: -1 bar up to 25 bar.
Sizes: DN15 - DN3000.
Connected to an installation using: swivel or fixed flange, threaded connection, clamps. Connecting parts made of: zinc-plated steel, stainless and acid-resistant steel, aluminium, cast iron. Manufactured according to PN 10/16 (DIN 2501), ANSI 150 lb. and other. Additional accessories: tie rods, vacuum rings, PTFE liner, thermal shields.

STEEL COMPENSATORS

STEEL COMPENSATORS

Consist of one or more multi-layer steel bellows, end connection such as flange or welded in nipples as well as i.e. optional internal steel sleeve.
Types of steel compensators: universal, axial, lateral, angular.
A version with an internal pilot steel sleeve is also available.
Bellows and internal sleeves can be made of the following kinds of steel: 1.4541 (AISI 321), 1.4571 (AISI316Ti) and other. Connectors and flanges can be made of: carbon steel, stainless steel and acid-resistant and other.
Working temperature: to 600°C.
working pressure: from -1 bar (full vacuum) up to 40 bar.
Sizes: from DN15 up to DN6000.
Types of steel compensators: universal, axial, lateral, angular.

PTFE COMPENSATORS

PTFE COMPENSATORS

PTFE compensators are used in applications that demand high level of chemical and thermal resistance. They compensate for thermal deformation, assembly stress and vibrations. Widely used in chemical, food and pharmaceutical industry
Working temperature: to 235°C.
Sizes: from DN25 to DN600.
Consist of a multi-layer bellow made of PTFE with external support rings.
Support rings are made of stainless steel.
Flanges made of cast iron, acid-resistant or carbon steel.

FABRIC COMPENSATORS

FABRIC COMPENSATORS

Fabric compensators are used for flexible pipe connection in applications in which rubber compensators cannot be used for various reasons - especially in case of very high temperature, ranging up to 1000°C. Fabric compensators are mainly used for loose media and gases in many branches of industry. Ensure good level of thermal and mechanical displacement in different kinds of assemblies: hot air pipelines, exhaust ducts, pipelines conveying dust and many other media.
Made of materials which do not contain asbestos. Manufactured on the basis of silicone, fibre glass, aramid or other materials necessary for proper operation of the installation.
Compensators consist of a couple or sometimes even several layers. Appropriate layers from internal to external are selected according to the medium characteristics.
Fabric compensators are usually made of: EPDM, Hypalon, glass, polyester or aramid fibre, silicone, Viton, PTFE, steel etc. Working temperature: up to 1000°C.
