Chemical hoses designed for liquid chemicals (acids, bases, nonorganic and organic substances, hydrocarbons, paints, solvents, etc.) Widely used to transfer chemical substances in chemical plants, reloading applications (tank trucks and rail tank trucks), technological processes in food, chemical, pharmaceutical and laboratory applications.
Internal layer must be resistant to chemicals being transferred. For proper hose selection several working parameters such as: medium (substance being transferred), state of aggregation (liquid, gas), concentration, working temperature, working pressure, etc. must be taken into consideration. For a guideline regarding proper hose selection see chapter: Initial hose selection and chemical resistance chart. Internal layer of chemical hoses are made of EPDM, EPM, PKM, polyamide, polyethylene and fluoropolymers. Reinforced with textile braid, textile cord or steel spiral. DN from 6 to 152 mm. Working pressure to 50 bar.
